Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers
    11 c. sliced onions
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 Tbsp. dry dill
    3 thinly sliced garlic cloves (inside green sprout removed)
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over combined sliced cucumbers and onions and let stand overnight.
    The following day, drain real well.
    Combine remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and pour hot over cucumber mixture.
    Cool.
    Put into 1 pint or 2 pint plastic containers and freeze.
