Tropical Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter, melted
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. coconut
8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 tsp. grated lemon or orange rind
Preparation

Combine 3/4 cup butter, 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar; mix well and press into a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Combine rest of the ingredients; mix well.
Spread filling over first layer while still hot.
Bake an additional 40 to 45 minutes or until firm.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
