Rosemary Roasted Chicken(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. roasting chicken
    1 lemon
    salt and pepper
    1 white onion, cut in quarters
    3 garlic cloves
    10 rosemary sprigs
    1/2 c. chicken stock
Preparation
    Rinse the chicken and pat it dry.
    Reserve the giblets and neck for another use.
    Cut two 1-inch pieces of lemon peel from the lemon.
    Cut the lemon in half and rub the chicken inside and out, squeezing the juice while you rub.
    Salt and pepper the chicken lightly inside and out.
