Ingredients

1 c. finely chopped suet
1 c. molasses
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger, cloves and nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix and sift dry ingredients.
Add molasses and milk to suet. Combine mixtures.
Turn into buttered mold and cover.
Steam 3 hours.
Raisins and currants may be added.
