Corn Light Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising meal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 scant c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 c. buttermilk
    4 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Mix meal, flour, sugar, egg and milk.
    Stir until smooth.
    Add shortening.
    Pour in Pam sprayed loaf pan to within 1 inch of top. Bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
