Oatmeal-Chocolate Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. orange juice
    3 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old-fashioned), uncooked
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    2 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Blend in orange juice.
    Add combined Quaker Oats and flour, mixing well.
    Refrigerate 10 minutes.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press into 2-inch circles.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
    Remove from cookie sheet.
    Cool completely.
