Pork Steak And Rice Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 pork steaks
    small amount of fat
    1 1/2 c. rice
    1 medium diced onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 green pepper
    1 sliced onion
    1 large can tomatoes, crushed
Preparation
    Brown steaks in small amount of fat and set aside.
    In same frying pan, brown (saute) rice and 1 medium diced onion.
    When browned, pour rice into 3-quart casserole.
    Overlap pork shoulder steaks on rice.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover meat with green pepper and 1 sliced onion.
    Pour over all the tomatoes.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Uncover and brown for a few minutes if desired.
