Utterly Deadly Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs
1 1/2 c. corn syrup
1 1/2 c. pecans, broken
1 c. white sugar
4 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Boil sugar and syrup together for 2 or 3 minutes.
Beat eggs, not too stiff, and slowly pour the hot syrup into the eggs.
Add vanilla, butter and pecan meats.
Turn into unbaked pie shell. Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until set.
