Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium bananas (ripe)
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 cup chopped nuts, optional
    1/2 cup diced candied cherries, optional
Preparation
    Mash bananas.
    Stir in rest of ingredients.
    Add nuts or cherries, if desired.
    Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until a toothpick comes out clean.
