Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. whipping cream
    6 eggs, separated
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. whiskey
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat
    cream.
    Add 1/2 of sugar.
    Beat until very stiff. (Can be
    beaten
    ahead
    and stored in refrigerator.) Beat egg yolks until thick.
    Add whiskey.
    Beat well.
    Beat egg whites with salt until stiff
    and
    add
    remaining 1/2 of sugar.
    Beat very stiff. Fold cream
    into
    whites, then fold in egg yolks, scraping bottom of bowl with each stroke just until thoroughly mixed.
    Serve at once with dash of nutmeg on top.
