Sunomono - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cucumbers, peeled and sliced very thin
    2 carrots, grated
    1/4 c. chopped, cooked shrimp, chicken or ham
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine the vegetables, meat and salt.
    Combine the vinegar and sugar.
    Pour this over the vegetables.
    Stir well. Refrigerate several hours.
