Mincemeat Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. mincemeat
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and mix well.
Add mincemeat and mix well; then add flour, salt and soda.
Mix well. Add nuts if desired.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
