Sweet Spareribs With Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lean pork spareribs, cut into single ribs
    1/2 stick butter
    2 large onions, sliced and separated into rings
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    juice of 2 lemons
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    4 tsp. curry powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
Preparation
    Place ribs in a large roaster; cover with water and bring to a boil over high heat.
    Lower the heat, skim the foam, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Transfer ribs to paper towels to drain. Discard the water.
    Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0.
