Pronto Pups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1 lb. frankfurters
Preparation
    Mix all
    dry
    ingredients
    together.
    Add egg and milk; beat until smooth.
    Dip\tfranks\tin batter and fry in hot deep oil until brown.
    Serve hot with mustard.
