Successful Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg whites
1/3 c. sugar
dash of salt
Preparation

Moisten cornstarch in small amount of water.
Stir in boiling water.
Cool.
Beat egg whites until stiff; add salt, then add sugar gradually.
Beat in the cooked and cooled cornstarch until firm peaks form.
Brown 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Makes enough meringue for 2 pies.
This holds up with no weeping.
