Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. diced dates
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. milk
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Boil butter and sugar.
Add dates; boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from fire and add eggs, salt and milk.
Return to fire and cook 2 more minutes.
Remove from fire and cool, then add remainder of ingredients.
Let set 1/2 hour, then roll into balls and roll in chopped coconut.
Keep cool.
