Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. or 1/3 c. cornstarch
dash of salt
2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients and mix well.
Cook 2 minutes at 80% in microwave.
Stir; cook 2 more minutes.
Stir and cook 2 more minutes.
Mix egg yolks with small amount of cooked mixture and cook 2 more minutes.
Stir in margarine, vanilla and coconut.
Pour into crust; top with meringue and coconut.
Brown top.
