Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. fresh blueberries
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.
Add sifted dry ingredients, alternately with milk.
Batter will be stiff. Carefully fold in blueberries.
Turn into greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan; sprinkle top with sugar.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes (325\u00b0 for glass pan).
Serve warm with whipped cream.
