Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/3 c. Karo syrup
2 c. water
2 pie shells
1 large or 2 small boxes strawberry Jell-O

Preparation

Wash berries and drain.
Bake 2 pie shells.
Let cool, then line them with berries.
Mix sugar, cornstarch, water and syrup in a boiler.
Cook until thick, then add Jell-O to mixture.
Mix well and pour over strawberries.
Let cool if desired.
When ready to serve, put whipped cream over pie.
