Holiday Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. melted margarine
4 to 5 medium yams or sweet potatoes, cooked and sliced
salt to taste
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch; blend well.
Stir in orange juice, oleo and salt.
Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
