Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. meal
1 c. milk
1/2 c. oil
1 can cream corn
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. jalapeno pepper cheese, grated
1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
Preparation

Mix meal, milk, oil, corn, eggs, soda and salt well in a bowl. Brown hamburger and onion
and drain.
Mix 2/3 of cheese with hamburger and onion until
moist.
Put
thin layer of meal mixture in a 13 x
9-inch
ungreased Pyrex.
Sprinkle hamburger and
onion over meal mixture.
Sprinkle
the
rest
of
grated cheese on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
