Light And Flaky Danish Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. soft oleo
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Cut the first 2 ingredients together.
    Sprinkle 2 tablespoons water over mixture.
    Roll into ball; divide in half.
    On ungreased baking sheet, pat each half into a 12 x 3-inch strip.
    Strips should be 3 inches apart.
    Heat to a rolling boil the oleo and 1 cup water.
    Remove from heat and quickly stir in almond extract and 1 cup flour.
    Stir vigorously over low heat until the mixture forms a ball.
    Beat in 3 eggs all at once until smooth and glossy. Divide in half; spread evenly over strips to edges.
    Bake 60 minutes until brown.
    Cool.
