Louisiana Style Oyster Po-Boys - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large loaf New Orleans French bread (approximately 36 inches)
    36 large oysters
    vegetable oil
    corn meal
    salt and pepper
    sliced lettuce and tomatoes
Preparation
    At least 1/2 hour before using, drain oysters.
    Dredge with corn meal, salt and pepper.
    In large skillet, pour 3 inches of oil.
    Heat to 390\u00b0.
    Gently lower oysters and deep fry until golden.
    Drain on absorbent paper and keep warm.
