Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk, scalded
    1 c. whipping cream (unwhipped)
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Use heavy saucepan.
    When the 3 cups milk have reached the scalding point, remove from heat and stir in sugar and 4 well beaten eggs; then the whipping cream.
    Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture coats a wooden spoon.
