Saturday Special - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimiento
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 large tomato, thinly sliced (optional)
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
Preparation
    Microwave Directions:
    Crumble ground beef into 2-quart casserole.
    Add onion.
    Microwave on High for 5 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking time.
    Drain and return to casserole dish.
    Add sour cream, soup, corn, pimiento, salt and pepper. Cover and microwave 5 minutes on High.
    Top with tomato slices. Microwave for 3 minutes on High or until tomatoes are slightly softened.
    Garnish with French fried onions.
    Let stand 3 minutes, uncovered.
    (If tomato is not used, cook an additional 3 minutes on High before adding French fried onions.)
    Makes 6 servings.
