Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 sticks butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
4 bananas
1 large carton Cool Whip
pecans (optional)
maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation

Melt one stick of butter, add crumbs and mix well.
Press into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Soften the other stick of margarine and the cream cheese to room temperature.
Mix with powdered sugar and vanilla; beat with mixer for 7 minutes.
Put on top of crumbs. Put 2 cups drained pineapple on top of this, then slice the bananas on top of pineapple.
Top with Cool Whip.
Pecans and cherries may be placed on top.
