German Chocolate Cake With Cocoa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. pure butter
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 Tbsp. cold black coffee
Preparation
    Cream the butter, shortening and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift all dry ingredients together.
    Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk, half at a time.
    Add coffee and vanilla. Bake in 9-inch layers for 35 minutes in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven.
