My Grandma'S Butter Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sliced almonds
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 sticks real butter
    1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    extra fine sugar for topping
Preparation
    In blender or food processor blend nuts and sugar until finely blended.
    Cream butter in large bowl and add almond-sugar mixture. Beat until fluffy.
    Gradually add flour and salt.
    Wrap and refrigerate until firm.
    Working with 1/4 of dough at a time, shape into 3/4 inch balls.
    Roll and shape into crescent shapes. Place on unbuttered cookie sheet and bake 14 to 16 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Cool for 10 minutes; dip into sugar to coat.
