Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan or other desired shapes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until a toothpick comes out clean (about 50 minutes).
Sift powdered sugar on top when cake is cool.
