Sweet Cream Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sweet cream or half and half
    2 c. rhubarb, cut up
    1 baked pie shell
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 egg yolks
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Melt butter and add rhubarb and 1 cup sugar.
    Cook slowly 10 minutes.
    Mix 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks, cream and salt.
    Add to rhubarb mixture and cook until thick.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Top with whipped cream or meringue.
