Ingredients

2 parts sugar
1 part water
1 orange
Preparation

Dissolve sugar and water.
Quarter orange (leave the peel on), but don't cut through the peel at the bottom; the orange will then open up like a flower.
Place the orange in a pan with the sugar and water.
Cook to a syrup (do not cook too long; it will go to sugar).
Serve over hot biscuits.
