Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 rounded tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder.
    Beat eggs until mixed.
    Add slowly in order listed.
    Add hot water slowly.
    Bake approximately 20 minutes in 9 x 9-inch pan in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serve with crushed sweetened strawberries.
