Polish Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. canned evaporated milk
    1/4 c. water
    5 large eggs
    2 Tbsp. vanilla butternut flavoring
    1 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Do not preheat oven.
    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix in flour, salt, milk and water. Fold in flavoring, cherries and pecans.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes, or until done.
