Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted Gold Medal flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening until fine. Pour in milk and knead lightly. Round up on a floured surface. Roll out or pat out until about 1/2-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place in baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 450\u00b0 (preheated oven). Brush tops with melted butter.
