Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. hot water
    2 tsp. vanilla (optional)
Preparation
    Beat egg yolk until a lemon color.
    Beat egg whites.
    Add egg yolk, sugar and flour.
    Add hot water and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add stiffly beaten egg whites last. Bake in a well-greased pan in 350\u00b0 oven.
