Grandma'S Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. fresh or frozen whole kernel corn
    1 small head cabbage, shredded
    6 medium onions (vary according to your preference)
    4 medium green peppers, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    2 medium red peppers, chopped
    1 qt. cider vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
    2 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine vegetables (corn, cabbage, onions, green peppers, celery, red peppers) in a large pot or Dutch oven.
    In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
    Ladle into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
    Adjust caps.
    Process in boiling water for 10 minutes.
    Let stand 1 hour to blend flavors.
    Yields 14 (12 oz.) jars.
