Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. garlic juice or 2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chili powder
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can Ranch beans (optional)
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions; drain well.
    Add chili powder and cook for a minute.
    Then add salt, garlic juice and tomato sauce. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Add 2 cups water.
    Cook in a heavy pan over low heat for at least 2 hours. The longer it cooks the better.
    Add beans, undrained, in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
    Serves 4.
