Escalloped Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    3/4 c. bread or cracker crumbs
    1 c. grated cheese
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    In a 2 1/2-quart casserole, layer corn, salt, pepper, crumbs and cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Repeat.
    Beat egg, sugar and milk together.
    Pour over corn.
    Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cover for 1/2 hour, then uncover and top with paprika.
