Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour or 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. cocoa or 2 (1 oz.) chocolate sq.
2 Tbsp. butter
baked pie shell
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and salt.
Add milk and cocoa gradually at same time.
Cook and stir until thick; cook 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat.
Beat egg yolks; stir a little of chocolate mixture into them, then stir them into cooked mixture.
Cook for 2 minutes, stirring well.
Add butter and vanilla.
Let cool to room temperature.
Pour into baked shell.
Cover with meringue and bake until brown.
