Coke Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) Coke
    1 small can crushed pineapple with juice
    1/2 c. water
    1 large box cherry jello
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Bring cherry pie filling, water and sugar to a boil and pour over jello.
    Add Coke plus a can full of water.
    Let thicken slightly.
    Add pineapple and pecans.
    Pour into serving bowl. Refrigerate until set.
    Serves 8 to 10.
