Four Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    2 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Blend
    sugar
    and
    butter or margarine until creamy and light. Beat
    in
    4
    egg
    yolks,
    one at a time.
    Add vanilla. Resift flour
    with
    baking
    powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.\tAdd these to butter mixture with milk and beat until smooth.
    Beat egg
    whites until
    stiff;
    add\t1/4
    teaspoon salt.
    Fold egg whites into batter.
    Bake
    in 3 greased and floured cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Use frosting of your choice.
