Ingredients

2 c. heavy cream
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. white flour
dash of salt
3 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation

Whip the cream until stiff.
In another bowl, beat eggs until light.
Fold in cream.
Fold in the flour, salt and sugar, then the hot melted butter.
Heat the waffle iron and brush with shortening.
Pour in batter.
Cook until golden brown.
