Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. pecan pieces
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. grated carrots
Preparation
    Mix oil and sugar. Beat well. Add eggs and blend. Sift dry ingredients twice and add nuts to dry ingredients. Blend thoroughly with other mixture. Add carrots a small amount at a time and blend well. Turn into 3 paper-lined cake pans. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Cool thoroughly.
