Bread Pudding A La Bon Ton - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread, cubed (fill 9 x 13-inch pan)
    1 qt. milk
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Place bread and raisins in buttered baking dish.
    Bring milk to a boil in another pan.
    Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Pour milk over the egg mixture and stir thoroughly.
    Pour over bread and raisins.
    Dot with butter and bake at 300\u00b0 until firm, about 1 hour.
