Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk, mixed with 2 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    5 crushed ripe bananas
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Mix buttermilk and baking soda in 2-cup measuring cup.
    Cream butter with sugar until smooth; add eggs and vanilla.
    Mix well. Add prepared buttermilk and soda mixture; stir.
    Add flour mixed with salt; mix well.
    Last, add bananas and nuts.
    Mix thoroughly. Bake in loaf pans at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until done.
    Yields 2 loaves.
