Ingredients

1 1/4 c. Pace mild picante sauce
1/4 c. tomato paste
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. Italian sausage
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. sliced ripe olives (optional)
Preparation

In small bowl, combine picante sauce and tomato paste; mix well.
In large bowl, combine beef, sausage (no casing), 1/2 cup picante sauce mixture, onion, crumbs, egg and seasoning.
Mix well.
Divide in half.
