Mexican Beef Hash Casserole(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3 to 4 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes (4 c.)
Preparation
    Saute onion, green pepper and beef until meat is browned.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Put in dish, cover and bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 60 minutes.
    Uncover last 15 minutes.
