Banana-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. boiling water
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. banana flavoring
3 large bananas, finely chopped
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream shortening, salt and sugar; add eggs and beat.
Add half of flour.
Dissolve soda in hot water.
Add to creamed mixture.
Beat well.
Add remaining flour and flavoring.
Add bananas and pecans.
Pour into small loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until bread springs back when touched.
