English Toffee Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 to 3 oz. English toffee
    fresh strawberries
    sour cream
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
    Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add toffee.
    Stir well until toffee is melted.
    Cool.
    Sauce thickens as it cools.
