Lazy Daisy Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. oats (uncooked)
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour water over oats, then cover it.
    Let stand 20 minutes. Beat butter until creamy; add sugar and mix.
    Blend in vanilla and eggs.
    Stir in oat mixture.
    Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Add to creamed mixture and blend.
    Pour in a greased and floured 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes. Let stand for 3 minutes and presto, you're done.
